Digital Island AB (“DI”) is a digital media company. When you use our apps (collectively referred to as “Service”), we may collect information about you (“Information”), including information considered “personal information” or “personal data” under applicable privacy laws.
Digital Island believes strongly in the privacy of our consumers. We want to be transparent about how we are collecting, using, and sharing your Information, as well as the rights you have regarding that Information..

We collect Information when you subscribe to our Service, create an account, or otherwise interact with our Services. Where required by law, we will collect this Information with permission. This includes the following categories of Information:
- Personal and Contact Information: First name, last name, email address.
- Identifiers: a unique userID associated with your personal and contact Information.
- Purchase Information: Information about your subscription, purchases, time of purchase, cancellation time, expiration information, entitlements or discounts. We do not collect your credit or payment card number or others details.
- Device and Other Technical Information: Information about your hardware, general device information such as operating system, platform and screen resolution.
- Photos: when you upload an image on our Service.
- Usage Data and Viewing Information: Usage Data is anonymously collected automatically when using the Service. Usage Data may include information such as product interaction, crash data, performance data, stability data (e.g. transmitted data volumes, performance, crashes and error messages, website response times, general device information such as operating system, platform and screen resolution) and other diagnostic data.
- Other Data You Provide (optional): We will collect other Information you provide when you use our Service. For instance, we may collect role (optional) and short personal biography (optional) data to increase user experience in the Service.
What Are Our Sources of Information?
In addition to the Information we collect from you directly, DI may receive Information about you from a variety of sources, including other third-party businesses. For instance, we may collect Information about you from the following sources:
- Technology and Service Providers. We may receive Information from our service providers, such as companies that assist us with purchase management, account validation, analytics, fraud prevention, or otherwise help us run our Service.
- Plug-in and Tools. We may collect Information from plug-in tools offered by companies that are not affiliated with us, but that are linked to or integrated in our Service or provide links to our Service. Your interactions with plug-in tools offered by companies that are not affiliated with us are covered by the privacy policies of those companies, not this Privacy Policy. You should carefully read the privacy policies of tools you use. The current third party tools we use are login plug-ins from Google and Apple.
We may combine this Information with Information we collect directly from you.

Digital Island uses your Information to provide you an amazing Service and as permitted or required by law, including as described below. Below are examples of the reasons we are collecting and using your Information.
- Provide Service and Operate Our Business. We may use your Information to develop, operate, improve, maintain, analyze, measure, and report on your use of our Services. This could include troubleshooting, testing new features, improving design or usability of our Service. We also use Information to support our internal business functions, including finance, accounting, and audit.
- Communications. We may send you communications, including by email, about purchases, your account, changes to policies, customer service inquiries, or to request feedback. We may also provide live support in response to your requests. We may record your text, for purposes of making features available, improving our service, and avoiding or addressing potential abuses of our Terms of Use or other concerns on behalf of our users.
- Safety, Security, Fraud Prevention. We may use your Information to enhance the safety and security of our Services. We may also use it to verify your identity, monitor, investigate, and prevent fraud, and halt other unauthorized or illegal activity.
- Comply with Law and our Terms of Use. We may use your Information to comply with applicable law, such as to satisfy a tax obligation or government request. We may also use it to enforce, investigate, or report potential violations of our Terms of Use.
- Deidentified and Aggregated Information. We may use and share aggregated and deidentified information to the extent permitted by applicable law. When we use deidentified information, we maintain and use the information in deidentified form and do not attempt to reidentify it, except to check whether our deidentification processes satisfy the requirements of applicable law.
Use of usage Data
- Used for analytics: We use the anonymously collected usage data, such as product interaction, events, number of page visit, time of page visit etc. for analytics, identifying usage trends and your experience.
- Used for app functionality: We may use the anonymously collected usage data such as crash data, performance data, stability data (e.g. transmitted data volumes, performance, crashes and error messages, website response times, general device information such as operating system, platform and screen resolution) and other diagnostic data for determining the stability of Our Service and to evaluate and improve our Service functionality.
How Do We Disclose the Information We Collect?
DI may disclose Information to our service providers who act on our behalf, our business partners, or others. For instance, we may disclose Information we collect to the following types of recipients:
- Service Providers. Digital Island hires vendors and other companies to perform services for us such as creation, maintenance, hosting and delivery of our Service. This may include processing payments, email and order fulfilment, customer service.
- Legal and Law enforcement Purposes. Digital Island may disclose Information in response to legal process, for example in response to a court order or a subpoena, or in response to a law enforcement agency’s request. We may disclose Information to third parties for fraud prevention, to investigate or prevent illegal activities, to protect the rights and safety of others, or as otherwise required by law.
- Change of Control. Digital Island may transfer Information in the event of an actual or potential business transaction, such as if one or more of our business units or assets are acquired by, sold to, or merged with another company or as part of a bankruptcy proceeding or a business reorganization.
How Can You Control Your Information?
You can halt all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
- Access, Deletion or Correction. To access, delete, or correct Information that we have collected about you, please log into your account.
Retention of Your Personal Data
Digital Island will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
Digital Island will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.
Transfer of Your Personal Data
Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
Delete Your Personal Data
You have the right to delete or request that Digital Island assist in deleting the personal data that Digital Island have collected about you. Our Service may give you the ability to delete certain information about You from within the Service. You may update, amend, or delete your information at any time by signing in to your account and visiting the account settings section that allows you to manage your personal information. You may also contact Digital Island to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to Digital Island.
Please note, however, that we may need to retain certain information when we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.
How Do We Protect Your Information?
DI has implemented administrative and technical safeguards to help protect your Information. Unfortunately, no security measures are perfect, and we cannot assure you that Information will never be accessed or used in an unauthorized way.
What payment options do we offer in our Service?
In app purchase – Subscription
All features in the app require in-app purchases, available as a subscription. The cost of a subscription is 149.00 SEK. We do not provide free trial of the Application. The subscription lasts for a month and gives you access to approximately 200 – 250 questions in the chat part of the app. You can cancel at any time. If you choose to subscribe, the purchase will be charged to your iTunes/Google account. The subscription will automatically renew unless canceled before it expires. You can manage the subscription from User Settings in iTunes/Google Play after purchase, and you can cancel the automatic renewal at any time. Upon renewal, the same package and duration as previously purchased will apply.

All payments are processed by Apple and Google.
What Happens If We Change or Revise This Policy?
From time to time, we may update this Privacy Policy and post the updated Policy here. We encourage you to periodically check back and review this Policy so that you always know our current privacy practices.
